New life in death.
I found this little guy growing out of a fallen tree while trail building. It felt like a symbol of trail building a a whole, giving new life to a part of nature previously unappreciated.

Virgin Singletrack.
Took a spin on the new trails out at Chewacla State Park. It’s still really fresh and soft in a lot of spots but once it gets packed down it’s going to be fast. I really like how they made new trails that tie into the existing CCC trails.

Gluten free bourbon pecan pie brownies are done!
Now off to shoot a wedding.

Vanessa’s bike has been moved to a much more suitable location.
Have I told you that I love our house? I do, very much.

She Reads to Him.
At the DMV an older lady reads aloud to her husband. It’s both terribly cute and horribly annoying.

Fungus and Moss.
Playing in the woods at my grandmom’s house.

The stories you could tell.
Rings from a tree that fell in this weeks tornado.

No more run-up.
This is where I use to practice my run-ups for cross. It wasn’t super long or steep but the roots made it challenging. The tornado that came through a couple days ago put an end to that, taking out the bridge that goes over the creek.

Firey BroMance.
Not only does my local roaster make amazing coffee but the names and descriptions are always entertaining.
